Lighting Levels and Lux Calculations
Do I need a Lux calculation?
We often receive these questions and we love to help with these requests. Our objective is to provide the best quality lighting to enhance the performance of tasks being undertaken. So how do we measure it? Light is measured using lumens – the more lumens the brighter it is. A Lux is a measurement of light in a given area for example the amount of light on the surface of your desk. Here at Easilume we are always performing Lux calculations.
Lighting recommendations are super important. Having the right light levels can make a huge difference to the atmosphere, the feel of an environment and the performance of your staff.
